One of the first hurdles in building a successful marriage is surviving the wedding itself.
Weddings are a huge industry in the United States, with an estimated $72 billion spent on nuptials every year. The average wedding budget is somewhere in the neighborhood of $28,000, and the average bride will spend a whopping $1,075 on her gown. Yikes! Perhaps there is some wisdom in eloping.
Roughly 2.4 million American couples are married every year, or an average of 44,230 every weekend. Of these, 10.8 percent take place in June, making it the most popular wedding month.
Statistically speaking, what is the second most popular month in which to get married?
Take a guess in the comments section and we’ll post the correct answer next week.
