Trivia Tuesday: Bye Bye Beatles

If you happen to be a fan of the Beatles (and really, who isn’t?), this is going to a very good week for you. Nearly 40 years after their break-up, one of the most celebrated bands of all time is making big headlines.

Not only are all of their studio albums being re-released tomorrow, completely remastered, but you’ll also be able to jam as Ringo, George, Paul or John through a new, highly interactive video game. It’s a fan’s dream!

Of course, the hullabaloo over the Beatles’ return is directly related to how distraught the masses were when they said “goodbye” in the first place. And today marks the 41st anniversary of one of many “lasts” for the Beatles — their last live performance on television.

On this day in history, September 8, 1968, the Beatles gave their last live television performance on the David Frost show. What new, hit song did they sing?

Take a guess in the “Comments” section and we’ll post the correct answer next week.

Answer to last week’s question: The little lump of flesh just forward of your ear canal, right next to your temple, is called the “tragus.” Congrats to Bean for guessing correctly!
