Word of the Week Wednesday: Freerunning

Freerunning (noun): the sport of running through city streets and jumping between buildings.

A sort of grown up version of follow the leader, freerunning tests participant’s ability to jump over objects, follow, run and climb, all in a fast somewhat elegant way.

The French call it Parkour, meaning “course” and it began in France in the early 20th Century.

So, if you’re looking for a way to stay fit, get some adventure and risk your life a little bit, try freerunning.
